Infrastructure
Beyers Lake Estates was established in the late 1960’s by the Beyers family. The family continues to own and operate the Resort as well as the Excavation business that built Oak Terrace’s 66-acre “Beyers Lake”, all the Roads throughout the Resort, installed the city water pipeline from Pana and developed the central sewer system that services the entire Resort community. The family Excavation Company also constructed 18-hole golf course and has completed all site work for all Resort Amenities.
Protective Covenants
Each subdivision at Oak Terrace is protected by covenants. These recorded documents outline: the minimum square footage of homes to be built in the subdivision, building setbacks, building materials, lake usage, the role of the Architecture Control Committee and much more.
Ask Mike Beyers or Katie Ohmes for more details about the covenants that protect your subdivision.
Private 66-acre Lake
Beyers Lake is 66-acres and 60 feet deep at the dam. It is a private lake; therefore only Property Owners, Vacation Club Members and Resort Guests are allowed to use the lake. Lake usage is limited to renting Oak Terrace pontoon boats, paddle boats, and fishing jon boats. Only lakefront home site owners are allowed to use their own boats on Beyers Lake. See covenants for motor restrictions and further details.
